Glady Nienstaedt

For the more than 20 years that Nienstaedt has been involved in public education, her work with young adults has included teaching experiences in the general classroom, the juvenile corrections system, outdoor education, alternative education and special education. Additionally, she has more than 16 years of school administration experience at the high school and middle levels. At the building level, she has implemented exemplary programs dealing with student advisory, student management, parental involvement, and school and community service projects.

Nienstaedt has presented and facilitated at the district, state and national levels, and in 2001/2002, she was selected as the Region 1 Middle School Principal of the Year for the Michigan Association of Secondary School Principals.

Nienstaedt received her bachelor of science degree from the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point and a master of arts in secondary education administration from Northern Michigan University.
